New Edgware match secretary Frank Tate (aka Bilbo) contacted me this evening informing me of a story he said would break in the press shortly.
According to Tate, Edgware are in talks with a local millionaire businesman who aims to take the club into the Conference within 3 years and that talks are taking place with Barnet FC in regard to both clubs playing at PEPF earmarked for Wealdstone FC previously.
I thought April fools was last week!
